The Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague has been one of our most loyal customers for years. Since 2017, around 700 modular walls have enabled some 50 exhibitions, currently “Josef Koudelka Ruins”. Reusable Mila-wall modules ensure flexible, efficient and sustainable presentations.

Heimspiel für Greser und Lenz”, the Jesuitenkirche Art Gallery dedicated a special showcase of their work to the Aschaffenburg-based cartoonists Greser and Lenz. The Aquazoo Löbbecke Museum showed the special exhibition “Giants of the Atlantic. Diving Expedition Azores”. The Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague showed “Gleam of Gold, Blaze of Colours” with works of reverse glass painting from its own collections. Three-metre-high Mila-wall modular walls arranged in a star shape, seamlessly integrated glass walls and one-metre-high info walls created clear thematic focuses and offered almost invisible protection for the exhibits.

The Collection of Prints, Drawings and Photographs of the Dresden State Art Collections has relied on Mila-wall for changing exhibitions in the Royal Palace since 2004. The Documentary Material Hall of the Gyeonggi Museum introduces documents from the Joseon Dynasty and presents exhibits that are 300 to 500 years old in a conservationally sensitive environment. The Museum of Archaeology in Herne is one of the most modern archaeological museums in Europe. For the special exhibition “Hilm Böckmann Retrospective”, Mila-wall modular walls 2.5, 3 and 3.5 metres high were combined to create adaptable temporary exhibition spaces. The show demonstrated the significant reduction in reverberation with walls from the Mila-wall Acoustic series compared with standard walls, based on a simulation by the Fraunhofer Institute for Building Physics.

The State Textile and Industry Museum Augsburg uses Mila-wall to zone its 1,000 square metre upper floor for changing exhibitions, corporate trade fairs and concerts. Almost 200 wall elements were set up in two days according to the design by Erich Hackel, painted seamlessly and reused several times; more than 75 per cent of the elements are used again in new exhibitions.
