With the exhibition “Homo sapiens raus! Heimspiel für Greser & Lenz”, the Jesuitenkirche Art Gallery dedicated a very special showcase of their work to the two Aschaffenburg-based cartoonists “Greser & Lenz”.
The two artists are among Germany’s best-known cartoonists and have been delighting audiences with their original and unique art, which has appeared in newspapers and magazines since the 1990s.
For the exhibition, around 150 originals were presented, including on bright red Mila-wall Series 100 modular walls, and staged to great effect with a modern lighting concept. A total of 54 modular walls and 24 corner profiles in different widths were used, all with a height of three metres.
The cartoons, which hold up a mirror to society and politics in an amusing way, attracted a great deal of attention and ultimately gave Aschaffenburg its most successful exhibition of the past decade.
