To manufacture Mila-wall wall modules, we use an energy-saving cold-press technique. This allows larger components to be produced in an unheated mould, consistently keeping energy consumption low.

For us, sustainability is a philosophy we live by – from the very beginning
The term sustainability is now used often and in many places, but for us it is more than an empty phrase: it is a promise – to ourselves as much as to you, our partners and customers.
The roots of our family business lie in Reutlingen, at the foot of the Swabian Alb and in the middle of a UNESCO biosphere reserve. But it is not only this exceptional status of our home region that has brought environmental protection, resource conservation and sustainability into focus for us: right from the start – since MBA was founded in 1975 – it has been a personal and business concern for us to make our contribution to a society worth living in and to pass it on. As a manufacturer in the field of temporary architecture, we therefore attach particular importance to producing our systems for the exhibition and trade fair context sustainably and to ensuring a long service life and period of use.
More enduring than the longest term of office
In 1993, the then German Federal Minister Rita Süssmuth opened an exhibition. Unlike the minister, the wall modules are still in use.
Sustainable production
Manufacturing high-quality products while taking social and societal responsibility for environmental protection is one of our greatest aims and a high standard we set ourselves. The careful use of natural resources and the minimisation of risks to people and the environment are therefore among the basic principles of our business decisions and are defined as clear corporate goals.
The historic nave became a modern exhibition space – and the retrospective became the most successful exhibition of the last decade in Aschaffenburg.
For the aluminium frames used in our systems, we have now increased the proportion of recycled aluminium to ten per cent. The grey board honeycomb used as panels is even made from 100 per cent recycled materials.
Sustainable use
Not only is the manufacturing process of our components consistently based on sustainable production measures – above all, it is the long use cycle of our systems that has a positive impact on the environment. The properties of the Mila-wall wall modules play a special role here: they can be arranged flexibly, are easy to redesign, can be recoated with different surfaces and repainted several times and therefore offer a long, varied service life.
If required, the individual components can easily be separated from one another and thus disposed of or sent for recovery without any problems.
Our walls arrive at their destinations in special Mila-wall transport containers – without any additional and therefore unnecessary packaging.
All our products and accessories are designed for durability and high flexibility. This not only protects the environment, but also means the acquisition costs are amortised after a short time. The result is not only ecological but also economically sustainable benefits for you.
