Mila-wall Designer

The Mila-wall Designer is the planning software for exhibitions, galleries and trade fair stands. Only a few steps are needed from the idea to a realistic visualisation. You import the building plan, place Mila-wall walls in the desired position, assign colours and check the effect in the room immediately. You drag exhibits, light sources and objects such as showcases into the layout by drag and drop and receive dynamic dimensioning as well as PDF elevations for production and hanging.

Why the Mila-wall Designer

Planners need reliable processes, clear communication and exact documents. The Mila-wall Designer combines fast design work with realistic visualisation and ready-to-use output. This makes decisions more reliable, feedback loops shorter and handovers to the workshop, assembly and curation easier.

Advantages at a glance:

  • Import the building plan and work with Mila-wall straight away
  • Place and colour walls, doors, windows and showcases freely
  • Exhibits and light sources by drag and drop from connected databases
  • PDF elevations for assembly, hanging lists and approvals
  • Interactive assembly instructions and automated parts calculation

Functions in detail

  1. Architecture and layout

Import the building floor plan and place Mila-wall modules in lines, corners and rooms. Switch between plan view, elevation and realistic visualisation. Assign individual colours to the building and the modular walls and check sightlines, routes and zoning.
  2. Exhibits, lighting and objects

Integrate exhibits from linked art databases and position them by drag and drop. Add light sources and fittings such as showcases, plinths or media stations. Check the effect and legibility in the room.
  3. Dimensioning and output

Generate dynamic dimensions directly in the model. Export PDF elevations for wall runs and hanging plans. Derive parts lists and overviews for logistics and hand over clear documents to assembly and production.
  4. Frames and passe-partout

Define frame types and passe-partout specifications and apply these settings to the hanging. This keeps rows and grids consistent and reproducible.
