BMM / The Brain in Science and Art

In addition to scientific findings, the special exhibition “The Brain in Science and Art” visualises the close relationship between science and art, and between medical research and artistic practices.

In doing so, it creates a connection and provides facts and fictions. The aim of the exhibition is to introduce the history and present of brain research and neuroscience and, through artistic works, to encourage reflection on this “grey matter”.

In changing special exhibitions and in permanent exhibitions, the Museum of Medical History conveys the history of medicine over the last 300 years from different perspectives and with changing approaches. The Mila-wall modular wall systems offer a great deal of design freedom for this. There are no limits, either in terms of colour and shape or with regard to the combinable modules. For example, the Mila-wall can be transformed quickly and easily into a showcase or a cube.

Thanks to the adaptability of the Mila-wall wall modules, visitors get the feeling of experiencing a completely new exhibition each time, even though the same modular wall systems, which can be used flexibly again and again, were used.
